Klausz Dental Lab was founded by Robert Klausz 57 years ago, in Toronto. It was always his dream to own his own business and to one day have one of his sons follow in his footsteps. It’s been 34 years since his son Ron joined the family business and he runs it to this day with his mother, Susan.

Ron’s father always taught him to be the best that he could be and to provide excellence in service and quality. This is what elevates Klausz Dental Lab above its peers.
Klausz Dental Lab is a commercial dental lab. Instead of working directly for the public, they supply dental practices with custom-made restorations such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and night guards.

“We’re in the customer service business. We’ve grown over the years and expanded our offerings, by providing what our clients are requesting. This has taken the lab in exciting new directions, such as the fields of dental sleep, and digital technologies,” explains Ron.
Being a medium-sized dental lab allows them to offer a wide variety of customized products and services while maintaining strict controls over the quality of their production. Ron himself oversees everything from managing logistics, production, quality control, and customer service, as well as technical designs and consultations. Their company motto is “Working Harder and Smarter for your Practice”.

Ron also explains, “Our industry is going digital, so there’s a lot that we used to do analog that is now digital. We’re receiving digital scans from our clients as opposed to physical impressions. We’ve got to be able to accept those scans and print models. Instead of pouring them with stone, we print them with resin. A lot of different types of work are being printed and milled. Technology changes very fast, so trying to keep up with it is one of the bigger challenges, but we are not only meeting our clients’ expectations, we are surpassing them.”
Klausz Dental – What we do
Klausz Dental Lab has even begun to diversify its business, opening a company called Oral Appliance Care, a direct-to-the-public online retail store offering an array of cleaners for dental and oral appliances.
